The Blue Devils scored a touchdown and two field goals in the second quarter, giving them a lead of 16-14 at halftime. In the third quarter, Dominic Keaton scored a touchdown and gave the lead back to the Rockets. Later in the third quarter, West Memphis fumbled the ball and Cole Eichler recovered it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nOn that drive, the Rockets scored a field goal on fourth down, which brought the score to 24-16. But, on that play, West Memphis got a personal foul for roughing the snapper and gave Catholic High a first down on the three-yard line. Sam Sanders then scored his second touchdown of the night. When the Rockets were close to the goal line it was more convenient for Sanders to just run the ball in. \u201cThe running backs are all the way in the back field and I\u2019m right in the center,\u201d said Sanders. \u201cso it\u2019s easier for me to get the ball and try to push the pile.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nNear the end of the fourth quarter, Brooks Ward scored his second touchdown of the night, bringing the final score to 37-16. Quarterback Sam Sanders contributed to every touchdown that the Rockets scored.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nBecause of this win, the Rockets are the only undefeated team in the 6A East Conference. According to MaxPreps, Catholic High is ranked first in the 6A East Conference and second in the 6A Division behind Pulaski Academy.<\/span><\/p>\nOn Friday, October 7, the Rockets will head to Sheridan (2-3) to face the Yellowjackets. Even though the Rockets are favored heading into the game, they will remain vigilant. \u201cYou can\u2019t underestimate any team,\u201d said Sanders. \u201cWe\u2019re gonna play our game, have fun, and do our job.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.liftoffnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Untitled-2-1.jpeg?resize=640%2C267&ssl=1\")
